"Assisting Entrepreneurial Schools" portal launched
In response to shortcomings in government schools, more than 1.5 million private schools for the poor are now operating in developing countries, according to estimates from Templeton Foundation and International Finance Corporation-funded studies. Openworld has launched a new portal to provide learning entrepreneurs with practical information on sustainability strategies.
Along the Danube in the northern part of Bulgaria, the municipality of Rousse has identified a site that could be offered to private developers of an information technology-oriented business and technology park. Rousse has a highly regarded university that could participate in the project.
